Questions You May Have...

  • What are the basic requirements for working at LandCare?
    If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and have a positive attitude those are all the basic requirements you’ll need! Aside from that, we are an E-Verify company, so you’ll just need valid documentation that shows you can legally work in the US.

  • Do I need a valid Driver’s License?
    No, but if you do have a valid driver’s license, let us know… Crew Member Drivers start at higher pay.

  • Do I need experience?
    No experience? No problem. Our supervisors will teach you the basics, from pruning and equipment operation to irrigation maintenance.

  • What kind of training can I expect if I already have experience?
    We want to keep you moving up to the next level! If you’re eager to learn and grow, we’ll work with you so that you have the opportunity to advance from Crew Member to Supervisor, Technician, or onto a Production Manager.


  • What is a typical day at LandCare like?
    A typical day could include planting flowers or pruning shrubs, you may also operate small machineries, like leaf blowers and lawnmowers – so, to ensure you’re safe on the job, you should be able to bend, stretch, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.


  • Do we work in inclement weather?
    It all depends on the location of your branch. We offer snow removal services at some of our locations and work through the rain in wetter parts of the country, but sunnier regions may postpone work during storms. Either way, our teams monitor weather forecasts to plan weekly operations and communicate irregular scheduling as quickly as possible.

  • Is this a year-round job?
    Great question! Some of our locations offer both year-round and seasonal work, but even seasonal roles have a chance to earn year-round positions.

  • Do I get to wear one of those cool hats?
    Yep – all team members are given a LandCare hat to commemorate their first day on the job! But you’ll get more than just a cool hat – we also provide and pay for your uniforms, so you don’t have to.

  • What type of benefits does LandCare offer?
    Aside from Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, you will be set up with a 401K retirement fund with company match. We also give all team members Paid Time Off (PTO).

  • ​ What else can I expect from the job?
    Friends, fun and an opportunity to keep moving up! Team members love working here because they feel their team is like family. It could be the BBQ’s, anniversary/birthday celebrations or the rodeos, but we’re serious about keeping it fun!


  • Where does my online submission go and how long will it take to hear back?
    Your quick application will go directly to the LandCare recruiter and/or branch administrator for the branch(es) you’ve selected. We know you’re looking to get hired quickly, so someone will be in touch before you have time to stop and smell the roses.
